1. First Meeting
During our initial meeting we take time to understand who you are and how we can work together to build your ideal home.

2. Budget and Home Tour
After we learn about you, we will determine your budget and define the perfect specifications for your home.  We will then walk you through an already built home to assist in the visualization process and help to inspire new ideas and concepts for your home. After we are sure of the structure and layout of your home we can move on to the next step.  Also, if you haven't already chosen a lender, we have several excellent lenders that we can recommend.

 3.  Design Process
Next, we will begin designing your home.  We begin with a preliminary design and layout and as we move through the initial stages of the process we begin to finalize all selections and design decisions.  As your design process progresses, there will be ample communication via email, telephone and personal meetings until we have perfected your approved home design.

4.  Finalizing Costs, Specifications and Agreement
Once we have your approval on a final plan, we develop final job costing, specifications and contract preparations.

5.  Permitting and Financing
After all the documents are finalized and we have received verification from your lender for financing, we submit for your building permit.

6.  Selection Process
Before construction begins you will meet with our color coordination specialist to choose all of your finishes and design elements. This includes items like exterior and interior color scheme, cabinetry and countertops, flooring, plumbing fixtures, lighting, appliances and numerous upgrade options.

7.  Ground Breaking
Once we have your building permit, lender approval, and selections, construction begins! You will be assigned to one of our expert Project Managers. You and the Project Manager will meet occasionally at the jobsite over the next several months to discuss specific details of your home construction.

8.  Construction Process

The construction process typically takes about 6 months. We offer the innovative Builder Communicator website which allows you to view updated pictures of your home without having to visit the jobsite.  Builder Communicator provides the ability to ask questions, view progress, and view any or all change orders during construction. You can test it out by selecting the "Contact" tab and clicking the "Builder Communicator" button.

9.  Final Walk-Through
As we are nearing your home’s completion, you will walk through the house with your Project Manager.  At that time, you will review all workmanship and components of your home.  We want to be sure everything is in order and you are completely satisfied.  We will review your home with you using an extensive checklist that will allow you to thoroughly inspect your home before moving in.

10.  Move In
Once all municipality inspections are complete, an Occupancy Permit is issued. Then, after payment has been made in full, you are ready to move in!  Shortly after move in, we will deliver your New Home Welcome Packet which includes reference information such as your warranty, color selections, brand-names used, etc.

11.  Warranty Follow-Up
Throughout the following year we will be available to you for any warranty issues you may have.  We will contact you after 60 days and one year to assure that you are satisfied with your new home. Our goal is that you are cared for not only during the construction process, but also in the years to follow.
